Regional Sports Trust Network

In 2021, RSTs identified a significant opportunity to enhance their impact within regional communities and on a national scale by working collaboratively.

Supported by Sport NZ, the Network of RSTs dedicated substantial time and resources to develop a business case examining the potential for a National RST Network and a collective commitment to various collaborative initiatives, particularly focusing on priority communities. Sport NZ approved the business case in June 2023.

• To strengthen relationships with national agencies where strategies align.

The RST Network whakataukī ‘Kia uru kahikatea te tū’ encapsulates this belief. It talks about standing as a grove of kahikatea and achieving success through unity of purpose. Stronger together.
